7. Push up on latch to place in open

position.

8. Using long nose pliers, lift spring

end from notched side frame.

9. Remove spring from side frame.

Replace

1. Install spring on tractor assembly.

replacing left locking spring,

90 to step 3

replacing right locking spring

and/or belt tension spring, go to

step 2

2. Replace drive belt (para 4-54,

Replace, steps 1-6).

3. Replace tractor cover and secure

with two screws.

4. Replace tractor assembly (para 4-51).
