b. VOICE TRANSMISSION
Set MODE SELECTOR at VOICE

or 85 Hz + VOICE.
Check that the METER FUNCTION
q
switch is at DC LOOP NO. 1.
Set the RCV/SEND switch to SEND.
Check ONE WAY/DUPLEX switch for
q
ONE WAY position.
Attach microphone at microphone
q
connector.
Press and hold switch to key micro-
q
phone and talk.
Note sidetone in headset.
q
Make any adjustments necessary at receiver-transmitter to transmit
q
voice signals (Refer to appropriate technical manual.)
c. TELETYPEWRITER TRANSMISSION
Set MODE SELECTOR switch
Set METER FUNCTION switch
q

to position desired.
to DC LOOP NO. 1.
Set ONE WAY/DUPLEX switch to ONE WAY position.
q
Set RCV/SEND switch to SEND position.
Check meter to see that it registers between 0 and 20 mA
q
(depending on the setting of DC LOOP NO. 1 switch).
Make adjustments if necessary on the receiver-transmitter
q
to transmit signal.
When teletypewriter transmission is finished set RCV/SEND
q
at RCV.
