2-25. SECURITY PROCEDURES
Refer to security procedures listed in the Standard Operating Procedures for the operating organization.
2-26. DISASSEMBLY OF EQUIPMENT
a. Teletypewriter Set.
Disconnect signal lines and power cords.
Remove chad bin.
Remove legs from table.
Remove roll of paper tape from tape reel.
b. Teletypewriter Reperforator-Transmitter.
Disconnect signal lines and power cords.
Remove chad bin and its mounting equipment, tape guide, tape storage bin assembly and its mounting
equipment.
Remove mounting equipment attaching reperforator-transmitter to table and remove reperforator-transmitter.
2-27. TYPES OF STORAGE
Short term (administrative) = 1 to 45 days. All equipment in administrative storage must be able to be made
ready within 24 hours for use on a mission. Before placing any item in administrative storage, perform the
next scheduled PMCS and correct or repair any deficiencies you find. The administrative storage site should
provide required protection from extreme weather conditions and allow you to reach the equipment for visual
inspections or exercises when applicable.
Intermediate = 46 to 180 days.
Long term or flyable = no time limit.
